Is this year different from previous years?

We are waiving the participation fee of $10 because we were able to raise funds from the Path Foundation and generous donations from the Fauquier Business Community.

Is it only a meal packing event?

Just like last year, we are collecting food pantry items as well as packing dry meals. You can drop off food pantry items between the hours of 10:00am and 3:00pm – here is a handy flyer that you can download, share or print: Food Pantry List

What are you doing for Safety in the food packing event?

In light of the fluctuation of the ongoing pandemic, we will be flexible to ensure the safety of our participants. At this point in time:

  • All participants will wear gloves and masks in addition to the normal hairnet and apron.
  • We will have a team dedicated solely to keeping the packing area clean and will spray down any new item that is introduced to the packing area.

Where will the packing event and food drop off be?

At The Gathering Place, 650 Alwington Blvd, right behind the Warrenton Walmart and Brumfield Elementary School. MAP LINK

I cannot make the day of the event.  Can I drop off food at another time?

Yes, we will be receiving food at The Cornerstone Center located at 40 Rock Pointe Lane the week prior to the event, Monday – Friday, November 1st-5th between the hours of 9AM and 3PM. MAP LINK
