Feed Fauquier will take place on Saturday, October 6, 2018. To participate, you will need to register online, $10/person for each hour you’d like to participate. Your $10 = 40 meals. If you would like to pack meals for more than one hour, you will need to pay $10 for each hour. Your registration costs will go directly to help pay for the meals.
Each one hour time slot has a capacity of 125 participants. You can sign up as an individual or a group. Group leaders can sign up their whole group and work together at one assembly table together. Groups that are 10-12 people can reserve an entire table. Once a time slot is filled up, we will update the website and registration page. Some of the more popular time slots fill up before the event, so it is important to register as soon as possible!

Last year we packed 50,000 Pasta With Italian Basil Sauce. This year we are packing a new Minestrone Soup and hope to pack a total of 60,000 meals. Each meal contains six servings.
We give the nutritious dry meals to the Fauquier Food Bank, Clara’s House Food Pantry, Fauquier Fish’s Weekend Power Pack, and any other local organization that helps distribute meals to less-fortunate families. In 2015, the Fauquier Community Food Bank alone supported just over 5.5% of the county’s population.

This is a great event to bring your family to (even young kids can participate!), a team from work, get service hours, connect with other service-minded people from our community, hang out with a friend, and simply help meet a real need in our community. Anyone and everyone is welcome.
